Ιστορικό Σημείωμα: Αυτό το οικόσημο βρίσκεται εντοιχισμένο στην πρόσοψη της Καθολικής Αρχιεπισκοπής στο Κάστρο της Νάξου, και ανήκει στον ιταλικής καταγωγής Gaetano Maria de Angelis, καθολικό αρχιεπίσκοπο Αθηνών και διαχειριστή Νάξου (1895-1900). Αυτός είναι ο λόγος που φέρει αρχιεπισκοπικό καπέλλο με δέκα θυσσάνους σε τέσσερις σειρές. Το έμβλημα των Φραγκισκανών αδελφών που φέρει στο άνω τμήμα του θυρεού (τα χέρια του Ιησού και του Αγίου Φραγκίσκου διασταυρωμένα με φόντο τον σταυρό) οφείλεται στο γεγονός ότι ανήκε στους Καπουκίνους.

Historical Notice: This particular coat-of-arms is posed on the wall of the Catholic Archdiocese in the citadel of Naxos. It belongs to the Italian cleric Gaetano Maria de Angelis, catholic archbishop of Athens and administrator of Naxos (1895-1900) and it bears an archbishop's ecclesiastical hat with ten tassels on each side arranged in four rows. The presence of the emblem of the Franciscan Order in the upper half of the shield (the crossed arms of Christ and St. Francis against a cross in the background) is due to the fact that he was a Capuccin.
