Ιστορικό Σημείωμα: Οικογένεια Ιταλών ευγενών. Το συγκεκριμένο γύψινο οικόσημο ανήκει στον Giovanni Mastai-Ferretti που διετέλεσε πάπας της Ρώμης, ως Πίος Θ', όπως επιβεβαιώνεται και από τα παπικά εμβλήματα (την τιάρα και τα διασταυρούμενα κλειδιά). Βρίσκεται στην οροφή του μητροπολιτικού ναού στην Ξινάρα, ο οποίος οικοδομήθηκε επί των ημερών του.

Historical Notice: Italian noble family. The arms presented here belong to Giovanni Mastai-Ferretti, after he was elected Pope of Rome by the name of Pius IX, as confirmed by the presence of the symbols of papal power (the tiara and the two crossed keys). It is to be found on the roof of the Catholic Cathedral in Xinara, built during his period.
