Ιστορικό Σημείωμα: Αυτό το ξυλόγλυπτο και έγχρωμο οικόσημο (εύρημα σπάνιο στον ελλαδικό χώρο) βρίσκεται στο εσωτερικό της εισόδου της Καθολικής Μητρόπολης στο Κάστρο της Νάξου, και ανήκει στον ιταλικής καταγωγής Antonio Matturi, καθολικό αρχιεπίσκοπο Παροναξίας (1733-1748), όπως υποδηλώνει και το αρχιεπισκοπικό καπέλλο με δέκα θυσσάνους σε τέσσερις σειρές. Ανήκε στους Φραγκισκανούς και προηγουμένως είχε διατελέσει, μεταξύ των άλλων, επίσκοπος Σύρου και έξαρχος Σαντορίνης.

Historical Notice: This particular wood-crafted and colored coat-of-arms (a rare find in the Greek areas) is to be found inside the entrance of the Catholic Cathedral, in the citadel of Naxos. It belongs to the Italian cleric Antonio Matturi, catholic archbishop of Paros and Naxos (1733-1748), and bears an archbishop's ecclesiastical hat with ten tassels on each side arranged in four rows. He was a Franciscan and had served previously as bishop of Syros and exarch of Santorini.
