Ιστορικό Σημείωμα: Τα αρχικά G και P, σε συνδυασμό με τη χρονολογία 1661, οδηγούν τον μελετητή Αλέκο Φλωράκη να συσχετίσει το προκείμενο οικόσημο (εστεμμένος λέων όρθιος και πάνω από τον θυρεό εστεμμένος αετός με τις φτερούγες αναπεπταμένες) με τον ιταλικής καταγωγής αξιωματούχο Giulio Politiano, του οποίου η παρουσία μαρτυρείται στην Τήνο περί το 1660.

Historical Notice: Based on the date 1661 and the initials G and P, accompanying this particular coat-of-arms (crowned lion rampant, and over the shield a crowned eagle displayed), the scholar Alekos Florakis proposes a relation with the Italian official Giulio Politiano, whose presence in Tinos is attested to around the year 1660.
