Ιστορικό Σημείωμα: Το συγκεκριμένο εραλδικό σύνολο βρίσκεται επί του μνημείου της Καικιλίας Φωκά Κοσμετάτου-Κλάδα, στον Ναό του Αρχαγγέλου. Συνδυάζει το πατρικό της οικόσημο (τον δικέφαλο αετό των Φωκάδων) με εκείνο του συζύγου της (χέρι που κρατά κλάδο ελαίας και κατά πάλο ένα φίδι, των Κλαδάδων). Το δεύτερο θεωρείται "ομιλούν" οικόσημο, καθώς απεικονίζει εν μέρει το επώνυμο της οικογένειας. (EL)

Historical Notice: Italian family originating from Este (province of Padua), including military officers (mainly engineers and artillery experts) in the service of Venice. The military engineer Μarino Gentilini participated in the construction of the fortress of Asos (1593) and eventually settled in Kefallinia. This particular coat-of-arms is to be found in the mansion of Phocas-Kosmetatos-Gentilini (Argostoli) and is a construction of the 20th century. (EN)
