Λείψανα ανατολικού σκέλους αρχαίας οχύρωσης στη θέση “Σκαλούλα”. Η Σκαλούλα ανήκει σήμερα στο δήμο Λιδωρικίου, στην Δ.Ε. Πεντάπολης. Η περιοχή αποτελούσε το όριο μεταξύ Αιτωλών και Εσπερίων Λοκρών. Οι οχυρώσεις ενδέχεται να χρονολογούνται από την εποχή του Πελοποννησιακού πολέμου, όταν ο αθηναίος στρατηγός Δημοσθένης επιτέθηκε στο γειτονικό Αιγίτιο, που ήταν σύμμαχος των Σπαρτιατών.

Remains of the eastern branch of the ancient fortifications at the site "Skaloula". Skaloula belongs today to the municipality of Lidoriki, in the Municipal Unit of Pentapolis. The region constituted the borderline between the Aetolians and the Hesperian Locrians. The fortifications dated possibly to the period of the Peloponnesian war, when the Athenian general Demosthenes attacked nearby Aegition, an ally of the Spartans.

Vestiges de la branche orientale des fortifications anciennes sur le site "Skaloula". Skaloula appartient aujourd'hui à la commune de Lidoriki, dans l'unité municipale de Pentapole. La région constituait la frontière entre les Étoliens et les Locriens de l'ouest. Les fortifications datent éventuellement de la période de la guerre du Péloponnèse, quand le générale athénien Démosthène a attaqué Aegition, un allié des Spartiates.
