Ο πυρσός πού χρησιμοποιήθηκε γιά τη μεταφορά τής φλόγας στήν Ολυμπιάδα τής Μόσχας, σχεδιάστηκε από ομάδα μηχανικών καί διέφερε σημαντικά από τούς προηγούμενους. Είχε μήκος 565 mm, διάμετρο 29 mm, βάρος 700 γραμμάρια καί ικανότητα καύσεως 8 έως 10 λεπτά. Πάνω του ήταν χαραγμένο τό εξής λογότυπο MOSCOW OLYMPIAD 1980. (EL)
The torch used for the transfer of the flame Olympic Games in Moscow, designed by a team of engineers and significantly different from the previous ones. It had length 565 mm, diameter 29 mm, weight 700 grams and ability combustion 8-10 minutes. On it was engraved (EN)
