Στον περιβάλλοντα χώρο γύρω από το Παλατάκι βρίσκονταν ένας ξενώνας, στάβλοι, ελαιοτριβείο και όλα περιβάλλονταν από ανθώνες, ελαιώνες και φοίνικες, συνολικής έκτασης 30 στρεμμάτων. Σήμερα διασώζονται ο ξενώνας, που είναι το επονομαζόμενο Κτίριο Νικολάου Γύζη και οι στάβλοι ,όπου στεγάζεται το αναψυκτήριο "Το Ιστορικό". (EL)
