Ο Αλέξανδρος Μαυροκορδάτος αναφέρει στον Ιωάννη Κωλέττη ότι περιμένει ακόμη απάντηση σε δύο προηγούμενες επιστολές του και ότι δεν έχει λάβει ειδήσεις για τα τουρκοαιγυπτιακά. Συστήνει τον Hamilton [Birowne] ως φιλέλληνα, ο οποίος συμμετείχε στον αγώνα μαζί με τον Καραϊσκάκη. Τέλος αναφέρεται στο εμπόριο των σιταριών.
