Ο Νεόφυτος Καρύστου κ.ά. καλούν τους Αιγαιοπελαγίτες να εκλέξουν τους πληρεξουσίους τους και ανακοινώνουν ότι η Διοίκηση όρισε τόπο της Εθνικής Συνελεύσεως τα Μέγαρα, οι γράφοντες προτείνουν τη Σαλαμίνα και άλλοι τα Μέθανα. Θεωρούν αναγκαίο να μην χρονοτριβούν και να συγκεντρωθούν στα Μέγαρα για να αποφασίσουν εκεί για τον τόπο.
