Statue group with limbs entwined, of Athena and Giant (EN)
Σύμπλεγμα Αθηνάς και Γίγαντα. Βρέθηκε στο Λαύριο. Σώζονται τα πόδια της Αθηνάς και το κάτω μέρος του χιτώνα της με πυκνές λεπτές πτυχές. Από το γίγαντα, που παριστανόταν γονατισμένος, σώζεται το άκρο δεξί πόδι και τμήμα του αριστερού. Πάνω σε πλίνθο εικονίζεται η θεά Αθηνά να καταβάλει τον Γίγαντα Εγκέλαδο (;). Πρόκειται για αντίγραφο έργου του β΄τέταρτου του 5ου αιώνα π.Χ. (EL)
