Ιστορικό Σημείωμα: Ο εικονιζόμενος θυρεός δεν έχει ταυτιστεί. Βρίσκεται τοποθετημένος στο κάστρο της Λέρου, με τη χρονολογία 1511, και ανήκει πιθανότατα σε κάποιον καστελλάνο ή διοικητή της νήσου. Υπενθυμίζεται ότι η Λέρος παρέμεινε υπό την κυριαρχία των Ιωαννιτών από τις αρχές του 14ου αιώνα μέχρι το 1522.

Historical Notice: This unidentified shield (dated 1511) is placed on the walls of the castle of Leros and belongs probably to a castellan or commander of the island. Leros was occupied by the Hospitallers from the beginning of the 14th century to 1522.
