Ιστορικό Σημείωμα: Εραλδικό σύνολο με τον πτερωτό λέοντα του Αγίου Μάρκου, έμβλημα της Βενετίας, ο οποίος κρατά το οικόσημο του Βενετού γενικού προνοητή Giorgio Grimani, αντί του συνήθους Ευαγγελίου. Υπενθυμίζεται ότι η Κέρκυρα διετέλεσε υπό βενετική κυριαρχία για δύο περιόδους, από το 1204 έως το 1214 και από το 1386 έως το 1797. (EL)

Historical Notice: Heraldic ensemble with the winged lion, symbol of Saint Mark and emblem of Venice, holding the coat-of arms of the Venetian provveditore generale Giorgio Grimani (instead of the usual Bible). Kerkyra was under Venetian rule during two periods, from 1204 to 1214 and from 1386 to 1797. (EN)
