Ιστορικό Σημείωμα: Η παράσταση του οικοσήμου (κορυδαλλός με λοφίο), οδηγεί τον μελετητή Αλέκο Φλωράκη να το συσχετίσει με την οικογένεια Σκορδιαλού [=Κορυδαλλού] που μαρτυρείται στην Τήνο μεταξύ των ετών 1615 και 1718. Μάλλον πρόκειται για επιτύμβια πλάκα που βρισκόταν στον καθεδρικό ναό του Αγίου Ιωάννου στο Εξώμπουργο, απ' όπου μεταφέρθηκε στην καθολική Αρχιεπισκοπή της Ξινάρας τον 19ο αιώνα. (EL)

Historical Notice: Based on the charge depicted on this coat-of-arms (a lark with a tuft), the scholar Alekos Florakis assumes that it belonged to a member of the Scordialo family (Scordialos i.e. "korydallos" being the modern Greek word for "lark"), whose presence in Tinos is attested between the years 1615 and 1718. The tombstone on which it is engraved, was transfered from Exobourgo to its actual position, during the 19th century. (EN)
