Ιστορικό Σημείωμα: Γαλλικός οίκος. Το συγκεκριμένο οικόσημο αποτελεί τμήμα τετραμερούς σύνθεσης, τοποθετημένης στην πρόσοψη του νεωκορείου (cappelania) της Γαλλίας και φέρει στην κορυφή τον εμβληματικό σταυρό του Τάγματος του Οσπιταλίου του Αγίου Ιωάννου της Ιερουσαλήμ. Σύμφωνα με την επιγραφή, ανήκει στον Ιωαννίτη ιππότη Jean Cheron, ο οποίος ολοκλήρωσε το έργο το 1519. (EL)

Historical Notice: French house. This particular coat-of-arms is part of a heraldic ensemble posed on the wall of the French cappelania, bearing in chief the cross, crest of the Order of the Hospital of Saint John of Jerusalem. According to the inscription, it belongs to the knight hospitaller Jean Cheron, who completed this structure in 1519. (EN)
