The collection concerns the personal archive of Konstantinos Mitsotakis, with material produced during his long political career during the holding of his offices – parliamentary term, ministries, party leadership, premiership – and which he himself maintained. Added to this are private documents and testimonies concerning his personal life and family. The related documentary material is enriched with acquisitions from the archival collections of friends and collaborators in the form of donations. The archival material covers the period from 1880 to the present. In addition to the written documents, which make up the majority, there is a rich collection of photographs, as well as a collection of moving images (video) and sound recordings. Included are also issues of the Government Gazette, printed material, election leaflets, posters, and periodical and daily press.
