Αναφέρει ότι στη συνάντηση του με το Ε.Ρέπουλη στη Σμύρνη το Μάιο του 1919 είχε επιρρίψει ευθύνες στο Μαυρουδή για τα αιματηρά επεισόδια στο Κονάκι στις 2 Μαίου, κατά τα οποία φονεύθηκαν Τούρκοι και Έλληνες. Θεωρεί ότι το γεγονός αυτό σχετίζεται με την αυστηρή ποινή που του επιβλήθηκε και δηλώνει την πρόθεση του να υποβάλλει τα παράπονα του. (EL)
