Αναφέρει ότι όσα γράφονται εναντίον του δεν του προκαλούν εντύπωση, ότι οι περιπέτειες τον κατέστησαν ψύχραιμο πολιτικό και ότι στις ψευδείς κατηγορίες δίνουν απάντηση όσοι υπηρέτησαν υπό τις διαταγές του. Αναφέρει ότι σωστά ακολουθήθηκε η δια του δημοψηφίσματος επιβολή της Δημοκρατίας. (EL)
