In SearchCulture.gr users can find digital collections of the Ministry of Culture, comprising a total of 90,000 items, which you can explore in this Thematic Exhibition (only items with geolocation are displayed on the map).

The collections of the National Monuments Archive take us on a journey through five millennia of history; the archival material of the Acropolis Restoration Service highlights the significant work of the restoration of the Athenian Acropolis; while the digital collections of the individual Ephorates of Antiquities—Chania, Argolis, Messenia, Phocis, and Euboea—shed light on the local cultural heritage.

The Hellenic Organization of Cultural Resources Development (HOCRED) ensures the protection and enhancement of our cultural wealth within the framework of sustainable tourism development, safeguarding world cultural heritage for future generations. At the same time, the European Cultural Centre of Delphi features a rich “Delphic Collection” including photographs, works of art, books, and other materials.

From archaeological finds and excavation photographs to folk art objects, photographic and restoration projects, as well as works of Byzantine and modern art, Greek culture is transformed into a living digital repository, expanding the public sphere of knowledge and strengthening research and cultural awareness.
