Αναφέρεται στην πεποίθησή του ότι δεν πρέπει να μεταβληθεί το πολίτευμα πρίν εξασφαλιστεί η ηθική υποστήριξη της Γαλλίας και στην παρανόηση της επιστολής του σχετικά με την κάθοδο των Φιλελευθέρων στις εκλογές υπό την δημοκρατική σημαία. Συμπεραίνει ότι δεν υπάρχει καμία εναρμόνιση στις αντιλήψεις τις δικές του με εκείνες των στρατιωτικών και εύχεται η επιβολή των αντιλήψεών τους να έχει τις λιγότερο αρνητικές συνέπειες για την Ελλάδα.
