The collection of seascapes by Panagiotis C. Laskaridis is one of the richest in Greece. The collection was established in 1990, when the collector acquired the work of Konstantinos Volanakis “Bringing the Fish”. Since then, the collection has been systematically enriched. Today, it counts 52 works by Konstantinos Volanakis and a number of other seascapes by equally well-known painters: Aivazovsky, Hatzis, Prosalentis, Romanidis, Altamouras are just some of the names in the collection.
