Averoff Museum of Neohellenic Art  

The small corpus of works from the Averoff Art Gallery— the museum of modern Greek art in Metsovo, in the Ioannina region—comprises representative works by some of the most important Greek painters, printmakers, and sculptors of the 19th and 20th centuries, including Gyzis, Lytras, Volanakis, Iakovidis, Parthenis, Maleas, Galanis, Hadjikyriakos-Ghika, Moralis, Tetsis, among many others. The collection is regarded as one of the most comprehensive and significant of this period.
